Tender Hearts, New Beginnings

Thank you for signing up to the Tender Hearts, New Beginnings Workshop.

This is a new recording, adapted for audio, for anyone who signed up but couldn’t join the workshop before we started the meditation.

I started the second season of my newsletter, Afterimage, describing myself as the Queen of the Quiet Work of the Messy Middle.

That might have been code for Queen of Heartache. I started the season with a new love. It might have been foreshadowing for the lessons that were coming , a year on. I’m realizing I’m learning more coming out of the relationship, than I did while in it.

Heartache is a teacher. My astrology shows me that relationship is where I do most of my spiritual growth. I told a friend endings are one of the most potent crucibles for growth, in my case.

Leaning in, she asked me to host a workshop, noting that heartache can take many shapes and ignited by several things: not just romantic relationships, but identity, work, health, family, or society.

I hope this space to pause and listen for whatever message your heartache brings you lightness, or new awareness. Some energy as we move ahead in a new year.
